Mono To Immersive Experience Room
The museum’s most visceral experience, Mono to Immersive, lets you hear and feel the sonic evolution of recording sound via memorable GRAMMY performances by Bruno Mars and Cardi B, BTS, Green Day, Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar, Ricky Martin, and Rosalia.
Each performance traces the development of recording technology from the scratchy era of wax cylinders and early records to the breakthroughs of stereophonic LPs and Surround Sound. You’ll experience the highs and lows of changing audio technology like never before.
