As part of the GRAMMY Museum’s Programs at Home series, Moderator Scott Goldman talks with GRAMMY-nominated guitar-slinger, troublemaker, raconteur, producer, and Georgia boy, Butch Walker about his new album, American Love Story. Following the conversation, Butch gives a performance exclusively for the GRAMMY Museum.
The writer behind dozens of songs with hooks that seem to stick with you, Butch Walker has penned choruses you can’t help but sing along to for artists ranging from Frank Turner to Taylor Swift and produced massive rock records for Weezer, Fall Out Boy, as well as Green Days’ highly anticipated 2020 release Father of All Motherfuckers. Butch is currently in the studio with The Wallflowers, Billy Idol, and Jewel. His new album, American Love Story, is a conceptual rock opera inspired by modern times in America.
