GRAMMY In The Schools Mini-Lesson: Vocal Mechanics 101: Understanding the body’s role in Vocalization

Share

Patrick Lundquist, co-founder of Vocal Health and Training Company OOVO, dives into Voice Mechanics 101 by sharing his techniques. Far too often, musicians put time into learning how to sing without first understanding how the voice itself actually works. By training the four elements: Breath, Voicebox, Vocal Track, & Articulators (being your lips and tongues) you become more aware of your body and thus the sounds you produce so that you can sing your best.
