Ahead of its Los Angeles premiere on July 3, AMY — the new documentary exploring the incredible life of six-time GRAMMY winner Amy Winehouse — will get a special screening at the GRAMMY Museum on June 7. Directed by British filmmaker and BAFTA award winner Asif Kapadia, AMY features extensive unseen archival footage and previously unheard tracks from Winehouse, a musician whose music captured the world's attention. Her raw honesty and supreme talent resulted in some of the most unique and adored songs of the modern era. But her massive success resulted in relentless and invasive media attention that, coupled with Winehouse's troubled relationships and precarious lifestyle, saw her life tragically begin to unravel, resulting in her untimely death in July 2011 at the age of 27. AMY received its world premiere at the 2015 Festival de Cannes on May 16, and will open nationwide on July 10.
