The GRAMMY Museum education department is excited to welcome Ras Michael to the Clive Davis Theater to teach Los Angeles area students about Nyabinghi drumming. Join this reggae legend as he explains the purpose of Nyabinghi in the Rastafarian culture demonstrates Nyabinghi rhythms and asks students to play along with him. Ras Michael, a childhood friend of Bob Marley, is a Nyabinghi specialist and member of the group Sons of Negus. A Rastafarian elder, Michael contributed to the Museum's Bob Marley, Messenger exhibit, now on display.
