An Evening With Leon Bridges

The GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome GRAMMY Award-nominated R&B recording artist and songwriter Leon Bridges to the Museum for an intimate performance and conversation hosted by GRAMMY Museum Artistic Director Scott Goldman. In 2015, Bridges’ first album, Coming Home, surprised the music industry by debuting at Number 5 on the Billboard Top 200. In a span of just three years, Coming Home would take Leon to the White House to perform for former President Obama, see him on the stage of Saturday Night Live, and earn him nominations for two GRAMMY Awards, including Best R&B album. Coming Home has gone on to sell over 500,000 records (certified RIAA Gold) and has been streamed 350 million times, allowing Leon to regularly sell out 10,000-person capacity rooms in cities worldwide. Leon’s latest album, Good Thing, marks the beginning of a more modern R&B direction while staying true to his signature style. His current single “Beyond” has already received positive reception from Billboard, Rolling Stone, and more. Now a more experienced artist, Leon’s album showcases his continued rise from little opportunity to embracing the world stage.
