Gloria Trevi: El Amor

Screening to also feature an intimate conversation with Gloria Trevi

Often hailed as "the Mexican Madonna," pop/rock singer Gloria Trevi will release a new CD/DVD set, El Amor, on August 21, 2015. With more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, Trevi has released 13 albums and penned over 200 songs. Her latest album, De Película, reached No. 1 on the Latin Album chart in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America. El Amor is a gender-bending masterpiece produced by multiple GRAMMY Award winner Humberto Gatica (Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie, and Michael Bublé, among many others) in which Trevi gives listeners a glimpse into the way she loves, and the way she wants to be loved, singing from the perspective of both male and female. The album features reinterpretations of some of Latin music's timeless hits, including first single "Como Yo Te Amo." The GRAMMY Museum welcomes Trevi to the Clive Davis Theater for an exclusive pre-screening, discussion and Q&A about her new album, moderated by Leila Cobo, director of Latin content and programming for Billboard. Please note that this is not a performance. Gloria Trevi will be kicking off her El Amor World Tour on August 21st at The Greek Theater.
