It began in a quaint and unassuming Chelsea, N.Y., living room where the trio of brothers, otherwise known as the critically acclaimed three-piece AJR, set up their creative lab. It was here where Adam (bass/vocals), Jack (vocals/guitar), and Ryan (ukulele/piano/vocals) assembled a handcrafted hybrid of sticky pop hooks, cinematic electronic beats, live instrumentation, theatrical panache, '90s nerd rock energy, and cleverly colloquial lyrics. This unpredictable homegrown style defines the trio's second independent full-length offering, The Click, and is especially impressive given that RIAA Gold-certified lead single "Weak" has achieved viral success. First appearing on the 2016 EP and album precursor What Everyone’s Thinking, "Weak" introduced The Click to audiences everywhere with a big bang. The runaway smash quickly generated over 215 million Spotify streams and counting, achieved RIAA Gold certification, and amassed 13 million-plus YouTube views. The guys delivered a hyper-charged live rendition of the single on TODAY in between selling out their headlining What Everyone's Thinking Tour. All the while, the group garnered praise from Billboard, Time, Paper, Pop Crush, Idolator, and more. The release of The Click is followed by the second leg of the band’s acclaimed What Everyone’s Thinking Tour, which will bring them to even more cities on the west coast. After just 3 short weeks following the release of the album, new single “Drama” amassed over 3 million streams on Spotify and had fans across the country singing along at sold out album release shows in NYC and LA. GRAMMY Museum welcomes AJR to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate conversation on their rising career and a special performance. The evening will be hosted by Scott Goldman, Executive Director of the GRAMMY Museum.
