Museum Hours

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday 10:30am – 6:30pm
Saturday – Sunday 10am – 6:30pm​

  • On May 23, 2016 the fourth floor will close at 5:30pm for a private event.
  • On June 3, 2016 the fourth floor will close at 5pm for a private event.
  • On June 9, 2016 the fourth floor will close at 5:30pm for a private event.
  • On June 23, 2016 the fourth floor will close at 6pm for a private event.
  • On June 24, 2016 the third floor will close at 4:30pm for a private event.
  • On July 26, 2016 the fourth floor will close at 5pm for a private event.
  • On November 19, 2016 the Museum will close at 5:30pm for a private event.

​The Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Location

The GRAMMY Museum is located at 800 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, California (on the corner of West Olympic Boulevard and Figueroa Street), in the L.A. LIVE district. The Museum entrance is located on Figueroa Street between Fleming’s and The Farm.

Museum Parking at L.A. LIVE

Located in downtown Los Angeles, the GRAMMY Museum is part of the L.A. LIVE district. There are nearly 4,000 parking spaces immediately adjacent to L.A. LIVE, and more than 16,000 parking spaces available within a 7-10 minute walk to the district. Convenient on-site parking is also available.

L.A. LIVE - East Garage (Lot E)

When visiting L.A. LIVE for 2 hours or less (restaurants, bowling or the Museum), we recommend using the East Garage (Lot E, enter on Olympic Blvd., see        colored lot below).

  • TIMED PARKING RATES:
    $5= First 2 hours; $5= Each additional ½ hour (or fraction thereof, $30 maximum); $6= First 4 hours with cinema validation, (ticket purchase necessary); 30 minute grace period
  • FLAT RATE:
    $10= Cars entering after 9:00pm, except Valet Level P2
  • VALET SERVICE:
    Valet service is available on Level P2 from 4pm - 2am daily. Service charge is $5, in addition to regular timed rates.
  • VALIDATION:
    The GRAMMY Museum does not validate. Some L.A. LIVE establishments validate; please confirm prior to arrival. You are allowed no more than 2 validations per vehicle (i.e. Regal Cinemas and participating establishment).

L.A. LIVE - West Garage (Lot W, Gates E and F)

For visits of 2 hours or less, we also recommend using the West Garage (Lot W, enter on Georgia Street, turn on Access Rd., see        colored lot below).

  • TIMED PARKING RATES:
    $5= First 2 hours; $5= Each additional ½ hour (or fraction thereof, $25 maximum); $6= First 4 hours with cinema validation, (ticket purchase necessary); 30 minute grace period
  • FLAT RATE:
    $10= Cars entering after 9:00pm
  • VALIDATION:
    The GRAMMY Museum does not validate. Some L.A. LIVE establishments validate; please confirm prior to arrival. You are allowed no more than 2 validations per vehicle (i.e. Regal Cinemas and participating establishment).

L.A. LIVE - West Garage (Lot W, Gate B)

When attending an event (lasting 3½ hours or more), we recommend the West Garage (Lot W, Gate B, enter on Chick Hearn Ct., see        colored lot below). Pay a flat rate ($10-$30 depending on the event) upon entering the lot. Stay as late as you wish - don't worry about a validation. Gate B opens 3½ hours prior to event time.

Vicinity Parking

There are many privately owned parking lots in the vicinity of the GRAMMY Museum. Many offer flat rate parking, with rates that vary depending on the event. The GRAMMY Museum at L.A. LIVE and their respective affiliates, owners, tenants and contractors do not endorse or control parking rates or policies at non-company owned or operated parking locations. Public Transportation

There are many alternative forms of transportation with frequent stops near L.A. LIVE, including frequent Metro Rail trains and Metro buses. Use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at (323) GO-METRO to find your most convenient form of transportation.

Metro Rail

If you’re coming to L.A. LIVE by rail, ride the Metro Blue or Expo Line to Pico Station (2 min walk) or the Metro Red or Purple Line to 7th St/Metro Center Station (7 min walk). To find the route that’s best for you, use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at (323) GO-METRO or (323) 466-3876

Metro Bus

Metro Bus routes service all of Los Angeles and many lines stop near L.A. LIVE including lines 30, 81, 442, 460 and the Silver Line. To find the route that’s best for you, use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at (323) GO-METRO.

Dash Bus

DASH Bus Route F has several stops on Figueroa St. adjacent to L.A. LIVE. For details on DASH service, go to ladottransit.com.

Metrolink

Metrolink operates train service within Southern California from Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Orange, and North San Diego Counties. They now have special weekend passes for only $10 which includes free connections to Metro bus and rail lines that stop nearby. Amtrak

AMTRAK offers train service from beyond the Los Angeles area to Union Station, just minutes from L.A. LIVE. For service routes and schedules, visit amtrak.com or call (800) USA-RAIL. Taxi service is available from Union Station to the L.A. LIVE campus.

Note: Amtrak passengers must purchase a separate ticket to ride the Metro Rail.
