The GRAMMY Museum offers a wide range of consulting services, from asset development and discovery to museum development and exhibit creation. Our staff, based in Los Angeles, has collaborated with managers, estate management teams and even artists themselves to distinguish valuable materials, repair damaged items and create extensive catalogues, all with the mission to preserve musical history. We’ve also served as consultants for museums and cultural institutions throughout the world who wish to share in our mission of celebrating the enduring legacies of all forms of music. In 2013, the Museum helped peermusic launch the opening of the peermusic Heritage Room containing a series of collectibles from the company’s rich history. The Museum was also instrumental in assisting the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Woody Guthrie Center open its doors in 2013. The 12-000-square-foot center features state-of-the-art, interactive exhibits on Guthrie’s life, art and creative legacy.
Our expert curatorial and traveling exhibitions teams have extensive knowledge and experience in bringing to life the secrets behind the art and technology of recorded music, and developing exhibits that spotlight not only artists, genres and decades of music, but significant events in pop culture and society that have led to the conception of some of the most important music ever created.
